Every dish served at restaurant Ambrosijn is flavoured with the passion of owner and chef Co Huijbrechts. In 2010, he decided to open his own restaurant on the beautiful island of Schiermonnikoog, after a long and successful career as a chef in various renowned restaurants throughout the Netherlands. Here he brings his culinary dreams to life.
During the day, the restaurant serves a wide variety of dishes from the day menu, ranging from freshly-made sandwiches to soups and salads. The kitchen opens for dinner at 18:00. Many of our guests order the surprise menu, asking the chef to prepare them a balanced multi-course dinner while taking into account the daily supply and their own preferences. Another option is to create your own multi-course dinner by selecting dishes from the menu. Ambrosijn offers a wide variety of vegetarian options as well. A suitable wine selection completes your gourmet experience.
