Description

Just a random review: "Actually, perhaps, the most beautiful spot on Schier. Authentic and beautiful house!" Aurora is situated in a prominent and central location in the old village.
At the intersection of Nieuwstreek and Langestreek, Aurora is impossible to miss. This former captain's house is available for rent for up to five people.
At the front is a lovely terrace with Fermob furniture, where you can relax from early morning until late in the evening. At the rear, the veranda and terrace offer plenty of privacy. Behind Aurora is a 50-meter-deep authentic garden with a terrace, bordered by hedges. This wonderfully peaceful garden offers several seating areas.

Ground floor:

The house is modern and tastefully furnished and fully equipped. The living room flows into the kitchen. The living room, with a dining table and six chairs, is equipped with a well-stocked bookcase and a sound system that can be controlled via Bluetooth. The china cabinet naturally contains the dishes and glassware, as well as games. The new kitchen opens through double doors onto the terrace and veranda at the rear of the house. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a 4-burner induction cooktop, an oven with air fryer mode, an extractor hood, a dishwasher, a citrus juicer, a microwave, a double refrigerator, a Nespresso machine, a Senseo coffee maker, and a coffee maker. The television room features a comfortable lounge sofa with a large reclining element. The TV channels are crystal clear from the sofa.
The bathroom has a sink and a shower.
A washing machine and dryer are located in a separate closet.
The wall-hung toilet is opposite the bathroom.

First floor:
Upstairs is the master bedroom with a view of Got Tjark, the Town Hall, and, in the distance, Hotel van der Werff and Hotel Graaf Bernstorff.
The master bedroom features a comfortable double box spring (180x210cm). From the dormer window at the rear, the lighthouse can be seen in the distance.
There is also a second bedroom with three single beds.
Both bedrooms have ample closet space. The second bedroom also has a chest of drawers.

Outside:
At the front is a lovely terrace with a Fermob sofa, a large dining table, and chairs. Two large parasols are provided for sunny days. From the terrace, life in Schiermonnikoog passes by.
At the rear is also a spacious terrace with a large veranda.
Both terraces are brightened up in the summer by a beautiful sea of hydrangeas. Behind this lies the original Schiermonnikoog garden, offering plenty of privacy.

Vorgarten: "Mitten drin" Hinter dem Haus: "Die Ruhe selbst"

Das Haus hat ist sehr schön und hat Atmosphäre. Der Preis: Die Treppe ist für Ältere eine echte Herausforderung, besonders in der Nacht.

Een mooi huis met mooie ligging

Het huisje heeft een erg mooie ligging en is erg goed onderhouden. Erg mooie tuin.

Geweldige locatie, vooral qua uitzicht, zeker tijdens de Monnikenloop.

Fijn schoon huis, trap wel erg steil maar daar konden we aan wennen. Keuken mag wel beter, want schimmel op het aanrecht maar daar wordt aan gewerkt begrepen we van de verhuurder. De TV-kamer met hoekbank is heerlijk comfortabel en de grote keukentafel in de woonkamer is fijn om aan te werken en te eten. Tuinen aan beide kanten ook top. En last but not least: prima bed.

De nieuwe keuken is inmiddels geïnstalleerd, voorzien van vier pits inductie kookplaat, afzuiging, nieuwe oven met airfry functie, vaatwasser en twee tafelmodel koelkasten, waarvan één met vriesvakje.
