Description

The location of the 4-person holiday home Kapeglop is unique, with beautiful views both at the front and the back of the house. The large garden with grass and trees offers a sheltered place with plenty of privacy. There is also lots of space for children to play. Peace, space and nature create a wonderful holiday feeling.

Layout

Ground floor
The kitchen has a small oven, an induction hob and a tabletop fridge. The living room has a pellet stove, TV and radio. There is also a hallway and a separate toilet.

On the ground floor there is one single bedroom with a washbasin and one bedroom with a double bed and a washbasin. Both bedrooms have a built-in wardrobe for clothes.

A steep fixed staircase leads to the upper floor.

Upper floor
On the landing there are 2 single beds. There is also a separate bedroom with 2 single beds.

Duvets, pillows and woollen blankets are available. Two bedrooms have small electric heaters.

The bathroom, known as the “Badhuis” (Bathhouse), is located outside the house in a separate small building, about 6 metres from the back door. Here you will also find the washing machine and a small freezer.

buitengewoon prettig huis, bijzondere plek

Karaktervol huis, zeer rustig gelegen, prachtige vergezichten vanuit de tafel in de huiskamer, voor alle weersomstandigheden een buitenplek te vinden, goede bedden en voor het echte vakantiegevoel buitenom naar de douche. We hebben genoten.

Location

Although the address is on the Badweg, the house is a little further away:
From the bus stop "Het Oude Koloniehuis/It Aude Kolonyhus" on the Badweg, turn right in front of the house "De Molshoop", onto the shell path “Lieuwe Trientjepad”.
After about 300 meters the cottage is on the left.
The access is a grass path in the form of a dam / dike.

Specialties

The Kapeglop cottage is located on one of the most beautiful places in Schiermonnikoog, just outside the village, almost against the dunes with lots of space around the house.
In this place you will enjoy peace, nature and privacy.
The covered veranda is a good place to be in any weather. Here you can enjoy the beautiful view.
There are also nice places to sit in the back of the garden.
There are plenty of garden chairs and a picnic table.

You may use the 2 bicycles that are in the shed.
Here is also some children's toys for outside.

Important info

There is no cleaning service. Guests are kindly asked to leave the house clean and tidy.

Bed linen and towels are not included in the rental price. You can bring your own linen or rent it in advance via www.schierlinnen.nl or www.linnenverhuurschiermonnikoog.nl.

Please note that the path to the house is a grass path. Taxis can drive as far as the nearby Seedune campsite. From there, you continue via a shell path and an unpaved track to the house.

In early spring, there may be water around the house.
