Holiday farm De Oorsprong is located on one of the most beautiful spots of Schiermonnikoog.
You will find us on the quiet east side of the island, on the edge of one of the dune and salt marsh areas that the island has. The farm is located close to the Wad, and the wide North Sea beach is only 2.5 kilometers away.
The harbour where the ferry docks is 700 meters from our farm.

We have always been careful to preserve the authentic character of the farm. That is why you will find references to the old stable in various places, including in the group accommodation. There is a trampoline on the recreation field, as well as a play area with sandbox and slide.
Farmer's breakfast provided in a luxury basket
We also provide fully catered breakfast buffets on request.
Including fresh juice, milk, sandwiches, sweet toppings, savory toppings, meats and cheese. Fresh fruits and a boiled egg.
Luggage transfer to and from the ferry on certain sailings!

You share the sanitary room with our other guests. There are plenty of showers and washrooms. These are cleaned several times a day during the season.
There are duvets and pillows on the beds. Bed linen can be rented from us or you must bring your own. Sleeping bags are not allowed with us. There is no cleaning service. You must clean yourself before departure.
Babies are welcome, but the maximum number of people including baby is 4 people! No costs are charged for babies, but a cot with bed linen for a surcharge is mandatory (when booking under "Extras", reserve a cot).
*** Our tents are not suitable for groups of young people under the age of 25! ***
The furnished tents can be rented between Ascension Day and mid-September.
