Description

De Koekoek was originally built in 1932. In 2003 it was extensively renovated, preserving its own character as much as possible and adding modern comfort to the house. The house is suitable for a maximum of 5 people, but is most suitable for, for example, three adults or a couple with (small) children.

Downstairs
Living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom with double bed (140 x 200 cm). Simple but functional furnishings with a small dishwasher, microwave, oven and television (with Chromecast). A bathroom with separate shower and toilet. Washing machine and dryer in the entrance hall.

Upstairs
Two bedrooms:
- front room with two single beds (190 x 210 cm)
- back room with two fixed single beds (80 x 190 cm)

On the upper floor there is a second bathroom with shower and toilet.

Outside
At the front (sunny side) is a spacious terrace, equipped with a large outdoor table with eight chairs and a parasol.

Huisje Koekoek is located at Noorderstreek 10, on the northern edge of the village of Schiermonnikoog. The buildings along the Noorderstreek partly consist of holiday homes and also houses for permanent residence. The Noorderstreek is located directly behind the Langestreek, the long main street that runs east-west through the village.

Via the Noorderstreek you can easily walk towards the forest via a dune path.
