From May through the end of September, beach pavilion Paal3 is open. Set on stilts in the middle of the widest beach in Europe, this is a truly unique place where you can completely disconnect. Paal3 is fully off-grid and not connected to fixed utilities, which makes the experience even more special.

With uninterrupted views over the sea and beach, this is the perfect spot to settle down after a walk, get some fresh air, or simply enjoy the peace and quiet. Watch the sun slowly set into the sea, with your feet in the sand or relaxing on the deck, a drink within reach.

On the menu you will find high-quality barista coffee, a selection of freshly baked cakes, refreshing drinks and a curated choice of wines and beers. A simple but tasty lunch is also available. Feel like staying longer? Grab a board game or pick up a book from the small beach library.

Paal3 stands for a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere where nothing is required and everything is allowed, exactly how a day on Schiermonnikoog should feel.
