Description

Holiday Home Idica is a charming, detached home on Badweg, just within the village. The house has a rustic appearance that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time, combined with a bright and practical layout. Thanks to the conservatory and large windows, the home feels spacious and light.

Ground Floor
Through the entrance, you enter the hall with stairs to the upper floor. The living room is bright and comfortably furnished and flows into the conservatory with sliding doors to the sunny terrace. From the dining table, you look out over Badweg, creating a lively yet relaxed view.

The open kitchen is practically furnished and equipped with essential appliances, ideal for cooking and eating together. Also located on the ground floor is a bedroom with a 1.80-meter double bed, making the house suitable for guests with limited mobility.

Additionally, there is a bathroom with a shower and double sink, and a separate toilet.

Upper Floor
There are three bedrooms on the upper floor. One bedroom has a 1.40-meter-wide double bed, and the other rooms are furnished with single beds. Thanks to the built-in wardrobes, there is ample storage space for a comfortable stay.

Outdoor Space
Behind the house lies a large southwest-facing garden that borders directly on the dune area. Here you can enjoy peace, space, and plenty of privacy. From the garden, you can see the characteristic white water tower on the dune. A unique spot where nature and an island atmosphere come together.

In front of the house is a small terrace where you can sit comfortably on sunny days. From here, you have a view of the Badweg, and there is always something to see. Walkers and cyclists pass by on their way to the beach or back to the village, creating a lively and typical island scene.

Location

Holiday home Idica is located on the Badweg, just within the village boundaries of Schiermonnikoog. It is a lovely spot where you experience the best of both worlds: the vibrancy of the village a short distance away and the tranquility of nature right behind you.

Behind the house lies a spacious garden bordering the dune area. From the holiday home, you can walk straight into the dunes, ideal for an early morning stroll or an evening walk at sunset. Diagonally behind the house, atop the dune, stands the characteristic white water tower. This recognizable island icon gives the place a unique and typical Schiermonnikoog feel.

The beach is also about 1200 meters away. Within a few (bike) minutes, you can have your feet in the sand and hear the sea. At the same time, you can easily walk or cycle into the village for groceries, a drink on a terrace, or a good restaurant.

Idica's location makes it an ideal base for those who love peace, space, and nature, but also like to have the conviviality of the village within easy reach.
